Austin Meadows sitting for Rays Tuesday in Game 1
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder/designated hitter Austin Meadows is not starting against left-hander Ty Blach and the Baltimore Orioles in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader.
Meadows went 2-for-4 with a 2-run homer and 2 runs scored on Monday in an extra-inning walk-off win over the Orioles. However, he's only hitting .248/.278/.483 versus southpaws this season. Avisail Garcia is moving to right field in place of Meadows for Game 1 on Tuesday. Guillermo Heredia is starting in center after being recalled from Triple-A Durham.
numberFire's models expect Meadows to record 4 homers, 12 RBI, 11 steals, and 2 runs scored over the rest of the season.
