New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia has been placed on the 10-day injured list with right knee inflammation.
What It Means:
Sabathia left his start on Friday in the third inning and is scheduled to have his knee drained. He hopes to pitch again this season, which he has already said will be his last.
He has a 4.93 ERA and 1.40 WHIP over 100 1/3 innings this season.
