San Diego Padres catcher Francisco Mejia is starting in left field in afternoon's series finale against left-hander Brian Johnson and the Boston Red Sox.
What It Means:
Mejia is replacing Josh Naylor in left field and hitting second. It's the second time in the last week he's played left field. Wil Myers and Naylor are available off the bench.
