Jordan Luplow placed on Indians' IL with hamstring strain

The Cleveland Indians placed outfielder Jordan Luplow on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain.

What It Means:

Luplow suffered the injury Monday on a slide into third base. It's not clear how much time he will miss. The Indians recalled Greg Allen from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding roster move.

Luplow is hitting .271/.347/.510 with 11 homers, 13 doubles, 29 RBI, and 31 runs scored in 216 plate appearances this season.
