New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks (flexor) was placed on 10-day Injured List on Sunday.
What It Means:
Hicks suffered a right flexor strain while making a throw and will miss at least days with his elbow injury. Expect Mike Tauchman and Cameron Maybin to play more in outfield while Hicks is out.
In 221 at-bats this season, Hicks is hitting .235 with 12 home runs and 36 RBI.
