Eric Hosmer homers twice as Padres pummel Orioles
San Diego Padres first baseman Eric Hosmer went 2-for-4 with 2 taters and 5 RBI on Monday in an 8-1 beatdown of the Baltimore Orioles.
Hosmer hit a 2-run shot in the bottom of the fourth and then added a 3-run blast in the seventh. He previously hadn't left the yard in over a month and it's his first multi-home run game of the season. The 29-year-old is up to 15 homers and 69 RBI with a .283/.330/.444 slash through 448 plate appearances this season.
