Noah Syndergaard (hamstring) will start Sunday for Mets
New York Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard (hamstring) will return from the injured list for a start on Sunday against the Atlanta Braves.
"Everything went great" with Syndergaard's rehab start last night, according to Mets manager Mickey Callaway. The 26-year-old right-hander landed on the IL June 16 with a right hamstring strain. He is 5-4 in 15 starts this season, with a 4.55 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 93 strikeouts, and 24 walks over 95 innings.
