Joey Votto leaves Reds' game Wednesday due to mid-back stiffness
Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto was removed from Wednesday's matinee game against the Indians due to mid-back stiffness.
What It Means:
Votto homered in his first at-bat of the game but grounded out in the third and was pinch hit for in the fifth. He should be considered day-to-day.
Our models project him to hit .261 with 7 home runs and 37 RBIs over 362 remaining plate appearances this season.
