Astros' George Springer (hamstring) nearing rehab games
Houston Astros outfielder George Springer (hamstring) could begin a minor league rehab assignment this weekend.
What It Means:
Springer hasn't played since May 24 due to a Grade 2 hamstring strain. It sounds like he should be back in action sometime next week.
Springer was slashing .308/.389/.643 with 17 homers, 9 doubles, 43 RBI, 41 runs scored, and 4 steals in 216 plate appearances before the injury.
