Tigers' Josh Harrison (hamstring) to undergo surgery this week

Detroit Tigers second baseman Josh Harrison will undergo surgery later this week to repair his Grade 2 left hamstring strain and will miss six-to-eight weeks.

What It Means:

Harrison suffered the injury running the bases last week and will now be out until at least the All-Star break. Brandon Dixon and Ronny Rodriguez will soak up most of the at-bats at second base while Harrison is out.

Harrison was batting .176 with a .215 wOBA and 10 runs scored over 146 plate appearances this season.
