Pete Alonso pounds pair of 2-run homers in Mets' loss
New York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 3-for-4 with a pair of 2-run homers in a 9-8 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday.
Alonso recorded his third multi-homer game of the season and drove in multiple runs for the first time in nearly two weeks. The 24-year-old rookie is batting .264/.338/.624 with a .962 OPS while tallying 19 taters, 10 doubles, 43 RBI, and 34 runs scored through 222 plate appearances.
Alonso scored 47.4 FanDuel points on Wednesday. numberFire's models expect him to record 12 homers, 42 RBI, and 38 runs scored over the rest of the season.
