Orioles acquire Keon Broxton from Mets
The Baltimore Orioles acquired outfielder Keon Broxton from the New York Mets in exchange for International Signing Bonus Slots.
What It Means:
Broxton was designated for assignment by the Mets last week, but he could find more opportunity in Baltimore. The center fielder turned 29 earlier this month.
Broxton bat a woeful .143/.208/.163 across 53 plate appearances this season.
