Christian Yelich (back) out again Wednesday for Brewers
Milwaukee Brewers right fielder Christian Yelich (back) is out of the lineup again on Wednesday versus the Cincinnati Reds.
Yelich was scratched from Tuesday's contest due to back discomfort and the Brewers want to continue to let him heal through Wednesday's matinee ahead of Thursday's day off. There's optimism the reigning National League MVP will return for Friday's series opener against the Philadelphia Phillies. Hernan Perez is starting in right field Wednesday while Ben Gamel mans left.
Yelich is hitting .325/.440/.732 with 19 homers, 7 doubles, 41 RBI, 40 runs scored, and 9 steals in 191 plate appearances this season.
