Andrelton Simmons sprains ankle in Angels' loss

Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons has been diagnosed with a left ankle sprain.

What It Means:

Simmons left Monday's game against the Minnesota Twins in the eighth inning following a collision at first base. X-rays came back negative, but he will undergo more tests on Tuesday.
