Giants name Andrew Suarez as their starting pitcher for Monday's matchup against Atlanta
San Francisco Giants pitcher Andrew Suarez will make his first start of the season in Monday's game against the Atlanta Braves.
Suarez will make his 2019 debut after being named Monday's starting pitcher. The 26-year old struggled in Triple-A, producing a 6.33 ERA and 21 strikeouts in 27.0 innings pitched.
In 29 starts last year, Suarez produced a 4.49 ERA and 130 strikeouts in 160.1 innings pitched.
