New York Yankees center fielder Bett Gardner is back for Thursday's series finale versus right-hander Mike Leake and the Seattle Mariners.

Gardner is joining Mike Tauchman and Cameron Maybin in the outfield while hitting third after sitting out Wednesday's game. Clint Frazier is in the designated hitter spot and on cleanup duty.
