Luis Severino (shoulder) out for Yankees through All-Star break

New York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino (shoulder) will not return before the All-Star break, Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said Sunday.

What It Means:

Severino is currently shut down due to right rotator cuff inflammation and a Grade 2 right lat strain. He hasn't pitched all season.

Severino posted a 3.39 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with 220 strikeouts and 46 walks across 191 1/3 innings last season while going 19-8 in 32 starts.
