Royals' Salvador Perez expected to undergo Tommy John, miss entire 2019 season, per report
Kansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez is expected to undergo Tommy John surgery next week, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
What It Means:
The procedure would keep Perez out for all of 2019. The Royals have not confirmed the report.
He hit .235/.274/.439 with 27 home runs in 544 plate appearances last season.
