Brandon Woodruff to open for Brewers in National League Division Series Game 1
Milwaukee Brewers reliever Brandon Woodruff will serve as the opener in Game 1 of the National League Division Series on Thursday against the Colorado Rockies.
Woodruff has traditionally been a starter during his career in the bigs and he made four starts for the Brewers earlier this year, so the 25-year-old right-hander may get a little more run than the typical bullpen-game opener. He spun a 3.61 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 47 strikeouts and 14 walks across 42 1/3 innings (four starts, 15 relief appearances) in the regular season.
numberFire's models project Woodruff to score 14.5 FanDuel points at a cost of $5,500 in Game 1.
