Travis Shaw has shown a lot of promise through his first two years in the Majors, slashing .267/.328/.470 with a .340 wOBA and .204 isolated slugging through 628 plate appearances.

He has a promising matchup tonight against James Paxton, who has allowed a .365 wOBA and 35.0 percent hard-hit rate against left-handed hitters over his career.

The Red Sox have been the best offensive team in the Majors this season with a 117 wRC+ that's nine points better than the second-ranked Mariners (108), and being a solid hitter in such a strong offense gives Shaw nice fantasy upside.
