He has fared slightly better against right-handed pitching over his career, mashing to the tune of a 38.8% hard-hit rate, 40.6% fly ball rate, .349 wOBA and .246 ISO, which puts him in a good spot against Josh Tomlin.

Tomlin is showing some of his early-career form this season, posting a shaky 4.16 SIERA and 17.2% strikeout rate, which are his worst marks since 2012. He has allowed a .327 wOBA against right-handed hitters on the season, and Davis has big upside in this matchup.
