Jay Bruce, OF, Cincinnati Reds

FanDuel Price: $3,900

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Jay Bruce and the Reds are projected for 4.1 runs tonight, which is just the 17th-highest total on the slate. With all of the cheap Texas outfielders in another good game script, as well as top options such as Mookie Betts, Jose Bautista, and George Springer, Bruce likely won't see high ownership while playing at Petco.

Why You Should Use Him:

It has gone kind of unnoticed, but Bruce has now homered in five-straight games and has seven in his last eight games. What's even more impressive is that four of those games took place in the spacious AT&T Park.

While Petco is no AT&T, it's pretty dang close when it comes to sapping power. However, a lefty-righty matchup with Edwin Jackson means Bruce can remain hot.

Jackson has pitched relatively well for San Diego through two starts, but his 6.18 SIERA on the year suggests he's still the mediocre pitcher he has been for the past few seasons. His career 4.46 xFIP against lefties doesn't bode well for tonight's matchup against Bruce, either.

Bruce has crushed righties in his career and should have no problem with Jackson tonight. His price and ownership still haven't caught up to his recent production. Take advantage while you still can.
