While Steven Souza's overall number from the plate haven't been great to start his young career, he has been very solid against left-handed pitching, with a .267/.333/.512 slash with a .362 wOBA and .244 isolated slugging.

He's up against a struggling lefty tonight in Sean Manaea, who has a shaky 4.34 SIERA through 13 games in his rookie campaign. He has been especially bad against right-handed hitters, allowing a .350 wOBA with a 4.83 xFIP, and makes for a great matchup for Souza here.
