Anthony Rendon has been great against left-handed hitting through his four seasons in the Majors, owning a .303/.374/.440 slash with a .357 and 36.7 percent hard-hit rate. His wOBA is an even more impressive .368 against lefties this season, and that makes tonight's matchup with Francisco Liriano intriguing.

Liriano is having the worst season of his career, with a 5.01 SIERA, 20.5 percent strikeout rate, and 13.5 percent walk rate through 17 starts. He's getting crushed by right-handed hitters, allowing a .359 wOBA with a 5.10 xFIP, and he's likely going to struggle against Rendon and the Nationals tonight.
