Brett Gardner is having a decent season against right-handed pitching, slashing .273/.380/.395 with a .345 wOBA. His walk rate (13.2 percent) is also nearly as high as his strikeout rate (15.0 percent). This doesn't come as much of a surprise, as he has always produced his best numbers against righties.

While a matchup with Corey Kluber isn't exactly ideal, Kluber is on pace for a 3.51 SIERA, his worst since 2012, and has been much less effective against left-handed hitters than he has righties, allowing a .318 wOBA over his career.
