George Springer, OF, Houston Astros

FanDuel Price: $3,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Similar to Sano, George Springer will lose ownership to the players involved in the Coors game. He also is facing Rich Hill today, who has a 2.31 ERA on the year. With Houston projected for a modest 4.1 run total, Springer likely won't be an overly popular option.

Why You Should Use Him:

Springer also has a depressed price tag, despite playing well recently. His makes a bit more sense, though, as Hill has been one of the best pitchers in the league this season.

Let's examine how much of a disadvantage Springer really has in this matchup and decide if he is worth targeting at his discounted price.

Let's start with Hill. His 2.31 ERA on the year is very impressive -- I don't mean to take anything away from the work he has done this season. However, his 3.61 SIERA indicates he is getting a little lucky. He also has a career 4.32 xFIP against right-handed batters, which certainly isn't low enough to scare us off of Springer tonight.

Speaking of Springer, the right-handed slugger has a career hard-hit rate of 39.3% against left-handed pitching.

The Astros might not light up Hill tonight, but with two other stud right-handers hitting behind him in Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa, Springer and the top of Houston's lineup could give Hill some trouble.

At such a cheap price tag, Springer is certainly worth targeting in tournaments. He's second in FanDuel points per game among qualified outfielders on tonight's slate but 37th in salary. You do the math.
