Jedd Gyorko, SS, St. Louis Cardinals

Jedd Gyorko has hit left-handed pitching fairly well over his young career, posting a .326 wOBA and .167 ISO. Gyorko, a righty, hasn't matched that production this year, but with a BABIP sitting at only .228 despite a 33.9% hard-hit rate against lefties, we can expect things to turn around a bit.

He has a great matchup tonight against Pittsburgh Pirates' southpaw Jeff Locke, who is in the midst of what might be the worst season of his career. His 5.24 SIERA is his worst since his rookie year -- when he only started 4 games -- and his 12.2% strikeout rate is his lowest clip in a full season.

Locke has been especially bad against right-handed hitters this year, struggling to a 5.11 xFIP..
