Kyle Gibson will take the mound for the Minnesota Twins today, and even in the context of his less-than-stellar career, he's having a rough season. His 4.90 SIERA is a career-worst clip while both his strikeout and walk rates are worse than his career averages.

Through four major league seasons, he has had a really tough time pitching to left-handed hitters, allowing a .326 wOBA to southpaws with a 12.5% strikeout rate and 4.68 xFIP.

Those struggles with lefties make this a great matchup for Mitch Moreland. Moreland has hit right-handed pitching well through his career, sporting a .338 wOBA, .200 ISO and 35.4% hard-hit rate against righties.
