Why He Will Go Overlooked:

David Ortiz will likely be the most popular first baseman on today's slate, while the red-hot Kendrys Morales should get some attention too. Brandon Belt will likely be one of the next most popular options, but considering his advantageous matchup, his ownership will be lower than it should.

Why You Should Use Him:

Belt is always worth targeting when he is facing a weak right-hander on the road, which is exactly what the case is tonight. Belt has excelled when freed from the confines of AT&T Park, raising his slugging percentage by 150 points, his ISO by 70 points, and his wOBA by 90 points while on the road this season. Tonight's game will take place at Chase Field, which is home to the fifth-highest park factor over the past three seasons combined.

Belt's opponent tonight, Shelby Miller, has a 6.79 ERA on the season and has seen his xFIP rise from 4.63 against righties to 5.99 against lefties. He gave up seven runs in his most recent start, and Vegas doesn't see this one going a whole lot better, projecting the Giants for 4.6 runs against him.

If you can't fit Ortiz's salary in your lineup or feel comfortable fading him, Belt is an excellent under-the-radar play tonight and is viable in any format.
