Josh Donaldson, 3B, Toronto Blue Jays

Josh Donaldson, the night’s third-ranked hitter, is going bonkers in June. Through 78 plate appearances this month, he has put up a .482 wOBA with a .383 ISO. As always, he’s been criminally dope against left-handers, punishing them to the tune of a .395 wOBA this season, and he gets to face off with Arizona Diamondbacks lefty Patrick Corbin tonight.

Vegas projects the Blue Jays to beat up Corbin, giving Toronto an implied total of 5.11 runs. Corbin owns a 4.21 SIERA this season, and he’s really struggled against right-handed hitters, surrendering a .348 wOBA and 12 of his 13 long balls to righties.

Even without Jose Bautista (toe), the Blue Jays’ lineup is awfully imposing. Edwin Encarnacion, our sixth-ranked bat, and Donaldson make for an enticing stack.
