Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Xander Bogaerts and Tim Anderson will likely hog the ownership at shortstop today, leaving Aledmys Diaz underowned.

Why You Should Use Him:

Diaz just refuses to slow down, continuing to be a solid run producer near the top of St. Louis' order. He's scored eight runs in his last eight games, good for 12.6 FanDuel points per game.

Diaz and the Cards draw a matchup against right-hander Collin McHugh tonight, the owner of a 5.22 ERA. McHugh has allowed four runs in back-to-back starts, not even making it out of the fourth inning in his most recent outing.

With the Cardinals projected for 4.4 runs tonight, Diaz is an appealing play in all formats, and you can get him at much lower ownership than some of the other shortstops on today's slate.
