Last season, Todd Frazier destroyed left-handed pitching. With a .252 ISO against southpaws, Frazier hit 14 home runs with a 50.4 percent fly-ball rate in just 163 plate appearances.

Not much has changed this season. In 44 trips to the plate against lefties, he’s hit four homers on an astounding 70 percent fly-ball rate with a .333 isolated slugging.

He’ll face Matt Boyd tonight, who has had difficulties with righties in his short career thus far. Against the 254 right-handed batters he’s faced, he’s allowed a .365 wOBA, .248 isolated slugging, and 52.8 percent fly-ball rate.

It’s a great matchup tonight for Frazier, and he’s a bargain at $3,400.
