Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Clayton Kershaw and Stephen Strasburg stand out as the clear top pitching options on the slate, and everybody else will likely be left overlooked. Among the leftovers, Lance McCullers will also lose ownership to Jason Hammel in an excellent matchup against the Braves.

Why You Should Use Him:

After a rough first outing (against Boston), McCullers has been nothing short of spectacular. He hasn't given up more than three runs in any of his next four starts and has posted ridiculous strikeout numbers too. In his four most recent games, McCullers has a 31.7 percent strikeout rate and has struck out at least 7 batters each time out.

McCullers will look to build on his recent success in tonight's matchup against Tampa Bay. The Rays rank 19th in wOBA against right-handed pitching this season, but what really offers reason for optimism is their free-swinging ways. Their 25.1 percent strikeout rate against righties ranks third in the league.
