In addition to having a sweet name, Mookie Betts has a sweet game. In his age-23 season, Betts owns a .352 wOBA with 32 homers and 36 steals over 1,087 plate appearances. Those numbers would be mighty attractive regardless of his situation, but as the leadoff hitter for baseball’s best offense, he’s a straight dime piece.

Betts and the Red Sox have an implied total of 5.28 runs, the highest of the day, for their matchup with Colorado Rockies’ righty Jon Gray. Betts is our fourth-ranked hitter with a projected point total of 13.53.
