Freddie Freeman, 1B, Atlanta Braves

FanDuel Price: $3,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Another day, another 20-plus FanDuel points for David Ortiz. Big Papi and the Red Sox once again find themselves with the highest implied team total, which should leave all first basemen underowned. Freddie Freeman is hitless in his last 10 at-bats and will almost definitely be a contrarian option today.

Why You Should Use Him:

Freeman and the Braves as a whole have not been fun to watch this season. He has flashed his upside recently, though, putting up 44.4 FanDuel points in a double-dong performance just five games ago.

Freeman couldn't ask for much better of a matchup than the one he draws tonight against right-hander Wily Peralta. Once a serviceable pitcher, Peralta has turned into one of the worst starters in the league. His 6.99 ERA is the worst in the league, and he has a SIERA of over 4.75 for the second-straight season.

Peralta has been even worse against lefties throughout his career, which has to have Atlanta's lefties licking their chops. Freeman, Atlanta's most dangerous lefty, has posted much better numbers against righties in his career and should have no problem putting up fantasy points in a hurry against Peralta tonight.

Freeman shouldn't sniff your cash game lineups, but he is certainly worth a look in tournaments. He has immense upside tonight, but keep your expectations in check -- he could just as easily go 0-for-4 with multiple strikeouts.
