Justin Smoak, 1B, Toronto Blue Jays

FanDuel Price: $2,900

It'll be tough today to decide between Justin Smoak and the aforementioned Carlos Santana as both have spectacular matchups. I'll leave the tough part to you while I take a few seconds to gush over how ill Smoak has been this year.

Smoak has kicked things up a notch against right-handed pitchers by posting a 51.5% hard-hit rate and 6.1% soft-hit rate early on. That sample size has been limited, though, because he has also drawn walks in 20.5% of his plate appearances. The one downside of Smoak is a scary 32.9% strikeout rate, but Minnesota Twins starter Ervin Santana's struggles against lefties will be of assistance there.

Over the past two seasons, Santana has faced 299 lefties. Of those 299, he has struck out 42 (14.0%) and walked 30 (10.0%). Those ratios and Smoak's spot in the order are going to give him a respectable floor, and then his batted-ball stats are there to bust open the ceiling.
