Odubel Herrera, Philadelphia Phillies

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Mookie Betts and Chris Young are likely to be popular options against Surkamp, while Giancarlo Stanton and Christian Yelich both should be highly owned against Chase Anderson. Odubel Herrera is likely to be left underowned in a game with a much lower implied team total.

Why You Should Use Him:

Herrera has been a pleasant surprise for the Phillies this season, hitting .324 and averaging 11 FanDuel points per game. He has hit safely in eight straight games and has a decent chance to keep that streak alive in tonight's matchup.

The Phillies are playing against right-hander Jhoulys Chacin, who has a career 4.22 SIERA. Chacin has also been noticably worse against left-handed hitters throughout his career.

Herrera, a lefty, has hit right-handed batters better in his career. He should hit leadoff again for Philadelphia tonight, and could be a big part of the 3.8 runs they are projected to put up.
