Chris Heston, San Francisco Giants

Yahoo Ownership: 25%
ESPN Ownership: 26%

Chris Heston has been the perfect fill-in at the back end of the Giants’ pitching rotation. He has four outings in which he has allowed more than one earned run (22 earned runs in those outings). That said, he gets to pitch at home in AT&T Park Tuesday against the Pirates.

Pittsburgh has enjoyed the recent hot hitting of their superstar Andrew McCutchen, but it is well-documented that home runs are few and fair between in San Francisco, and Pittsburgh struggles to hit it out of the park away from PNC Park (47.2 at-bats per home run). The Pirates hit the ball on the ground a lot, and Heston owns a 54.7 groundball percentage in 2015. The Buccos like to strikeout plenty, too. Only the Colorado Rockies have whiffed more on the road -- 239 to Pittsburgh’s 232 -- and have played one more game on the road.

Heston owns a 7.19 strikeouts-per nine innings mark (K/9), more than respectable for a streaming pitcher.
