Trevor Story, SS, Colorado Rockies

Price: $4,600

Milwaukee Brewers righty Chase Anderson has opened 2019 giving up much the same kind of contact he did in 2018 -- with a 36.5% hard-hit rate and 44.2% fly-ball rate (compared to 36.3% hard-hit and 44.2% fly-ball rates in 2018).

His strikeout rate is up (to 26.5%), but so is his walk rate (to 10.8%), and his 4.12 SIERA isn't much better than his 4.33 career average.

Same-sided matchups don't give him much of a boost either, opening the season with a 4.48 xFIP against right-handed hitters after posting a career-worst 4.92 last year. Over his career he's conceded a .341 wOBA and 4.29 xFIP on a 35.1% hard-hit rate in the split.

Those righty-versus-righty matchups don't tend to be much trouble for Trevor Story either. He's cracking right-handed pitchers for a 46.0% hard-hit rate and 50.8% fly-ball rate in 2019, building on his 42.8% hard-hit and 42.4% fly-ball rates from 2018.

Our models project Story for the highest fantasy score among all hitters on Wednesday's main slate.
