J.D. Martinez, OF, Boston Red Sox

Price: $4,500

With the weather still cool in most of the country, only a handful of games played at Coors Field and no true crazy-wind games at Wrigley Field yet, we've not seen many teams head into a matchup with an implied total north of six.

Tonight, we get treated to one though, with the Boston Red Sox implied for a slate-high 6.18 runs at home against the Baltimore Orioles.

The O's will start righty David Hess, who struggled to the tune of a 5.08 SIERA in his first major league season in 2018, and who has only managed a 4.84 mark so far in 2019.

J.D. Martinez is always full of home run upside, ranking top-10 in average exit velocity among anyone with at least 100 batted balls since the start of the 2017 season, while posting a wOBA of at least .425 and an ISO of at least .299 in each of the last two years.

When you add in the likelihood of the Sox' offense going off, filling up the bases and giving Martinez plenty of shots at runs and RBI, his upside is tough to ignore in a spot this good.
