Trea Turner, SS, Washington Nationals

FanDuel Price: $4,000

On his way to win the NL Cy Young award, Jacob deGrom was absolutely dominant, posting an absurd 1.70 ERA , 2.78 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA), and 32.2% strikeout rate over 217 frames.

As nasty as those overall numbers were, same-sided bats posted virtually no threat to deGrom. Across 411 righty hitters faced, the New York Mets ace held bats to a .205 wOBA, 35.05% strikeout rate, and 31.5% fly-ball rate.

As good as Turner was a season ago with 19 home runs and 43 stolen bases, his numbers dropped without the platoon advantage. His saw his wOBA drop by 19 points (.345 to .326), an inflated strikeout rate (11.1% to 20.1%), and a nearly four-point dip in hard-hit rate (34.3% to 30.4%).

Turner is definitely a stud, but he's in a tough spot against deGrom.
