Jacob deGrom has been absolutely brilliant this season, and should be in the driver's seat to win the NL Cy Young award, despite this scorching take from Michael Wilbon:

Over 202 innings pitched, the righty has destroyed hitters for a 31.9% strikeout rate and 2.85 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA). Righties haven't stood a chance, logging only a .209 wOBA and 34.4% strikeout rate to go with a 31.3% hard-hit rate.

Leadoff man Trea Turner has been juicy this year with his power-speed combo, but he has struggled against same-sided arms with a .318 wOBA and .133 isolated power (ISO) mark. For a pricier play, Turner is one to avoid tonight.
