Danny Jansen, C, Toronto Blue Jays

Getting closer to minimum salary here, Danny Jansen has started three of the Toronto Blue Jays' last five games, and he can offer some big value if he's in the lineup tonight against the Baltimore Orioles.

The O's haven't announced a starter for tonight, but they're going to go with a bullpen game. As a group, their relievers own the worst xFIP in the Majors (4.67), and that puts the Jays' offense in a terrific spot.

Jansen has only made 75 big league plate appearances, and while his .325 wOBA and .141 ISO are both modest marks, they're not bad for a guy at this price. He also showed some chops at the dish in Triple-A, posting a .427 and .386 wOBA, respectively, in the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

Double-check that he's in the lineup before you play him tonight, but if he's in action he makes for a great way to get salary relief and exposure to one of the slate's more interesting offenses.
