Detroit Tigers southpaw Matt Boyd has seen his numbers improve significantly from where they were in 2017, but his 4.25 SIERA is still not a great mark, and the contact he is allowing (37.3% hard-hit and 49.0% fly-ball rates) is very worrying.

The Cleveland Indians are one of two teams on tonight's slate with an implied total north of 5.00, and Jose Ramirez should have little trouble taking advantage of this matchup.

Ramirez is one of the most productive players in baseball, ranking top-five in all of home runs, runs scored, RBI and stolen bases. He also ranks sixth among qualifying hitters in wOBA (.402) and third in ISO (.294), and the switch-hitter can beat up on Boyd here.
