Fillmyer has been especially bad against left-handed bats in the Majors, with his xFIP climbing to 5.20 while he has walked as many hitters as he has struck out.

Max Kepler hasn't been anything special in 2018, though his .322 wOBA and .189 ISO are the kind of marks you start to expect when you get this close to minimum salary.

His production is also being held back in a big way by variance. He has only a .232 batting average on balls in play (BABIP) against righties, despite his solid batted-ball profile (37.9% hard-hit rate, 19.0% soft-hit rate and 47.0% fly-ball rate). He has a .264 BABIP against righties over his four Major League seasons, so we can expect him to bounce back.
