Carlos Santana, 1B, Philadelphia Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies offense is in a pretty solid spot tonight against the Washington Nationals and right-hander Erick Fedde, and their prices are down across the board.

Fedde has made seven starts in 2018, and owns a middling 4.23 SIERA in that sample. He also made three Major League starts last year, posting a 4.45 SIERA.

2018 has seen him concede a 37.1% hard-hit rate, and even though he is forcing plenty of ground balls (51.9%), allowing hard contact like that leaves plenty of room for fantasy upside against him.

Carlos Santana's production is down a bit this year, but the switch-hitter has still notched a .336 wOBA and .188 ISO on a 35.0% hard-hit and 43.8% fly-ball rate against righties. Despite the good contact, his BABIP also sits at only .234, meaning we can expect his production to increase moving forward as his BABIP regresses towards his career average .253 mark.
