A.J. Pollock, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks

It's been an injury-shortened 2018 for Hyun-jin Ryu, but he has been brilliant this season. Over 45 1/3 innings pitched, Ryu owns a 3.10 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA).

He has also been really tough on right-handed batters this season, limiting them to a .264 wOBA, with a 31.9% strikeout rate and 3.6% walk rate.

A.J. Pollock has shown some nice pop in this split with a .250 isolated power (ISO) mark, but only boasts a .323 wOBA with a 21.0% strikeout rate.

All of these factors make Pollock a player to avoid tonight.
