J.D. Martinez, OF, Boston Red Sox

Price: $4,900

With a home run last night, J.D. Martinez moved back into a tie for the most dingers in the Majors this season. Counting stats like that don't always tell us much, but for Martinez, that league-leading power is backed up by the advanced numbers too. His .318 ISO is good for tops among qualifying hitters, while his .439 wOBA stacks up as the third-best in the group.

Righty-versus-righty matchups have been no problem for Martinez either, with a 46.5% hard-hit, 10.1% soft-hit and 33.2% fly-ball rate on the year, which has translated to a .450 wOBA and .348 ISO.

Chicago White Sox righty Michael Kopech has looked pretty good in his two Major League starts, but there's still some room for concern. He has allowed a 40.0% hard-hit rate and 40.0% fly-ball rate so far, and he was also pretty prone to giving up fly-balls at the Minor League level, with a 39.3% rate in Triple-A this year, as well as a 43.6% clip in 22 Double-A games in 2017. That leaves plenty of room for Martinez to flex his power on Friday.
