The Los Angeles Angels are starting Odrisamer Despaigne tonight, and that has generally meant big things for opposing offenses this season.

In his three starts, Despaigne has allowed three, five and four earned runs, pitching no more than five innings in any of the three. He primarily serves as a reliever, but the 37.0% hard-hit rate he's allowing has spelled trouble when he has gotten the start. Going to the bullpen quickly isn't exactly encouraging for the Angels either, as their relievers have a 4.28 group xFIP, which ranks in the bottom-10 on the year.

Carlos Gonzalez has been solid against right-handed pitching this season, turning a hefty 38.4% hard-hit rate into a .361 wOBA and .208 ISO, leaving him way underpriced against Despaigne here. He's also not drawing dead if the Angels go to the bullpen with a southpaw early, sporting a viable .330 wOBA and .170 ISO against left-handed pitching.
