The New York Yankees are the biggest favorites on Monday's slate, with a -216 moneyline in a great matchup against the Chicago White Sox.

The White Sox have been weak from the dish this year, ranking 19th in wRC+, and their struggles hold up against pitchers of either handedness. They sit 18th in wRC+ against right-handers, with a .309 wOBA that ranks only 23rd and a 25.5% strikeout rate that checks in as the second-highest in the Majors. Chicago's 3.70 implied total the day's second-worst mark.

Masahiro Tanaka has seen his skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) climb from where it was in 2017, but his 3.58 SIERA on the season is still solid. He also pairs that with a strong 25.1% strikeout rate, which comes with an excellent 13.7% swinging-strike rate. He should have little trouble taking advantage of this matchup.
